Its not automatic there is an approval process.

What you need to know about the transfer process

Panoramio adds photos to Google Earth approximately once a month. Check the transfer dates for the last transfer date and the next transfer dates. You can see your photos in Google Earth only if they were approved and transferred before the previous transfer date.

This is the process for approving and transferring photos:...

Other than that I have never done it.

You can if you have Picasa view your pictures in Google Earth if they are Geo-tagged although that is only local to your PC.

I have an account with Panoramio, I was really interested a few years ago at having my photos on Google Earth.

As mentioned in the post above placement in GE is not automatic, but simply upload your photo then navigate to where you think it was taken, or if you have a super duper new camera with Geotags in let it work it's magic, then wait to see if it does appear. They tend to regulate what goes up, it's mostly for Landscape Photography.

It is rather addictive I must say!

Good luck.

The info on posting there is very patchy, seem to have to dig around all over the place for scapes of info...then I still can't work it out.
