That sounds like a plan, smilo!
:ernae:

Made it to Halim Intl. (WIIH). First checkpoint.

That was fun! I set my NAV2 to the VOR/DME station at WIIH, and NAV1 to the ILS frequency for runway 24. When I was about 29 NM out, I turned right, and waited until the NAV2 bearing needle was pointing about 240-ish, then turned towards the airport. When I picked up the ILS I was only a few degrees off, and by the time I picked up the runway out the window I was dead on.

Made it to Saigan (VVTS). Wild weather too. Visibility was ok, but wind gusts were tossing the big Douglas "too and fro", if you get the drift.

Time to kick this can down the road. Or up the coast, as it were. Off to Hainan Island, and Phoenix Intl. (ZJSY).

Well we have good news and bad news. The good news is we made it to Hainan Island in one piece. The bad news is that the Chinese are really really mad and may not let me go. Willy tried to warn me that "Mainland China" was off limits, but I had my "radio" off. Maybe I can plead ignorance on account of Hainan Island, being an Island, isn't part of the "mainland". As such. Think they'll go for it? They haven't made it into the plane yet. I'm holding them off by telling them there's a serious leak of relative bearing grease containment gas, very dealy. So far they're buying it...

Made it to Hong Kong (VHHX). I cheated though - landed on the runway without all the building and hills on the end of it...

Made it to RODN, barely! I forgot the Alphasim A-3 has this "glass in the rain" issue common to some FS9 port-overs, whereby the glass bocomes opaque in the rain! And it was raining at Kadena. Transitioned to the 2D cockpit, but it's really unsuitable for landing as it's "looking up" too much. Lucky for me the rain stopped at about 1 mile out, so I could get back in the VC for touch down. Oh, and there was a 16 knot crosswind too!

Off to parts unknown. I might try to UHPP, but that's a long haul. If I get tired, I may stop at RJCN, the last airport in Japan before UHPP. Not even sure I can make the 1300 NM to UHPP. We'll see...
