Premaircraft Dornier Seastar

This is great news!!!:jump:
IIRC Flying magazine did a write-up on this plane earlier this year which really piqued my interest. Downloading now; can't wait to fly it tonight when I get back from work.
Thanks for the heads-up TigerPackLeader! :ernae:

a nice looking a/c just wish they would have put real gauges in the panel instead of those glass things, or at lease given u a choice. :)

Usually the panels on PAD aircraft can be relatively easily retrofitted to account for personal taste. The Seastar is however likely to have the latest in TAA installed simply because that is what end users want these days. Walk down a GA airport ramp and the number of regular flying aircraft without at least some "glass" is dropping.

Downloaded .... and looking forward to a test flight tonight.

OK first test flight completed and the result is overall very positive. The Seastar is very well behaved and is easy to handle in the air, on the ground and in the water.
The only small "Nit-Pick" I have is that the speed range colors from the backup air speed indicator do not match the glass panel ones.

Definitely a "two-thumbs-up" airplane though by the gang at Premier Aircraft Design. Thanks to all involved for this and all the other great airplanes you have given the community.

Just did a short test flight - love it! The fictional Kenmore Air livery is a treat too! Including a prop blur file for it ...

Hey the plane looks quite good in this last screenshot !
How is the virtual cockpit ? I'm needing some amphibian planes in my FSX, and the PAD amphibian twin otter is already there ;)
