Looks like the [SIZE=-1]Libardo Guzman C-46. But im not familar with the panel Sidney is using.

Yes, it's the Libardo Guzman C-46 in Vancouver Island Virtual Airlines (VIVA) colors. The panel is something I put together. It's 2D only. I'm not a big fan of 3D cockpits, and they run slowly on my crappy old computer. I usually just remove them from the planes I fly regularly.

In this series of pics is another version of the C-46 panel I did that is closer to the original but gets rid of those horrid default DC-3 radios, which I hate...

Sidney, very cool pics! I just finished revisiting my installed Guzman C-46 - forgot how good it is. Need to setup the cowl controls. Take care.

It's a hodgepodge of gauges from various planes and panels I've downloaded. I have no idea anymore where many of them came from, and the panel.cfg but it wouldn't do you much good without the gauges. :frown:

From looking at the gauges most look like the modifed DC-3 panel i came across at flightsim.com and the one from Maam sim DC-3 mod panel. Will look into this closely as my Buffalo DC-3's all have moded panels to reflect the actual ac's panel IRL. Im gonna have to head over to Buffalo's maint area and see about a tour of its pit.
 
I decided to just package up the panel using FS Panel Studio and upload it for those who want it. I did use some gauges from a modified DC-3 panel, but had to replace those with others as they were causing problems with FS Panel Studio. Here's the link for downloading....

That link will be good for 7 days. Make a backup copy of your current C46 panel folder and replace it with this one. Move all the gauges into your FS9/Gauges folder.

I must ask that this panel not be uploaded to any other sites. I have no idea who made most of the gauges and have no way of obtaining permission from their authors to distribute them. Since I'm 99% certain that none of the gauges are from payware planes, I figure it's OK if I share the panel with a few folks here. But let's limit it to that, please.

The logo was designed by our fearless leader, VIVA founder Ken Peters. He did mention that he'd based it on something we should recognize, but I never figured out what that was. Now I know. :ernae:
Speaking of Viva, you're all invited to join. We are the most casual of VA's and don't care what you fly or where you fly it. We mostly deliver beer and the only rule is that we all have fun. Here you see a couple of our top pilots working on their pre-flights checklists.

Now all you crazy pilots in the NWT better be nice. The CAF has a new toy, courtesy of Tako_Kichi who gave me instructions on converting this SAR paint with custum interior to Fs9. Thank you Tako_Kichi for the paint and lionheart for building a wonderful AC.

A polar bear? That's nuts. Everyone knows marmots make the best co-pilots. Here's mine... his name is Chester. He actually does all my panel mods, and helps out a great deal with the scenery as well. Really handy with everything from a chain saw to a bulldozer. And, as you can see, he does a mean Elvis impersonation. :eek:

We have no official hubs, but if we did Yellowknife would be one of them. Those of us who are most active fly mostly in the north western U.S., Canada and Alaska. And the more SAR pilots the better...Viva pilots have a habit of getting lost. :ernae:

I followed the skagit road east into the cascades last night, what a scene!
Since we live an hour south of skagit--moved to SEA a year ago-- I have a feelin we will be seeing a good deal of ole route 20.

Glad you like the panel, Brady. I'll tell Chester...he worked very hard on it. Plus there's the time it takes him to sneak into parked aircraft and "borrow" gauges. Usually after he does a panel refit we find it prudent to leave town for a while. :d

I've been to Seattle a few times, but it's been quite a while since the last time. It's a beautiful area. I'm working on an enhancement of Bremerton...once it's done I'll upload it for public consumption. I think Pete's done a version of Olympia as well. :icon29:
