Problem after running ORIF

Barnstorm

"Molon Labe"
Hey Folks,
I was having problems with ETO ONLY in campaign mode, so I ran the ORIF utility (have the inst printed in front of me), and now when I run the ETO swapper utility, I get "can not find cfs3.exe".

I have 3x checked the short-cuts, and all looks as it should. I placed the spawn swapper in "1", then exited before re-installing the spawn and mission files....

The CFS3.exe works inside the main program folder and all other iterations of CFS3 work.

Any thoughts? (I know this makes Grizz crazzy........)

BTW, I have ran this utility in past w/o problems.:kilroy:

More Data.....

The shortcut properties for the ETOStart are:

Target
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\CFS3 ETO expansion\MASTERETOSTARTUP.bat"

Start in:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\CFS3 ETO Expansion"

Also, I do not have a .....\MASTERSTARTUP.bat file

And,

If I click on the ETOEraSwapper.bat, then the ETOGLSwapper.bat, then Cfs3.exe (all within the main folder), she starts fine.

Read and Follow the Instructions Carefully

Sometimes......My stupidity amazes me, or scares me....Eitherway......

After editing the ETOSwapper.bat file and saving it, I neglected to 'check' the Read Only box.

After starting the app and flying one mission, the settings reverted to the "default" install path. I can not explain it...

Thanks to certain SOH members for not offering assistance. The trouble shooting experience was invaluable :salute:.

Best Regards,

Barnstorm
