Problem in Bora Bora

OK, i loaded in two sceneries to improve Bora Bora and i am getting a white no texture moonscape, i moved the bgls for Ocen as requested to put in the requested Landclass and mesh and installed the two Bora Bora sceneries, in the Add On Folder the one for Bora Bora and the one for Hotels, but i get this whiteed out nasty no texture mess. I can see the add on terminal for Bora Bora airfield, and i guess that is the corrected mesh but for the entire area, for the Society Islands i get the no texture mess. I cant re install the default because i guess i lost those bgls for roads, land, etc. cant find them.

I am trying to use: Bill Melichar's Borahot and Bora2 and the James Thompson Landclass Societies/zip and the terrain mesh by Rolf Keibel and John Applegat, FPSIMESH.ZIP

Has anyone ever had problems with these add ons for the Societies? I realy had wanted to see them as i am very interested in the tropcial area,

i checked the folders and the texture folder and the bgl scenery folder is present and correct for both sceneries and i moved them all the way to prioroty 1 and 2 just to be sure. I dont know why the textures would disappear like this.

anyone have any ideas?

any help much appreciated. I can re install to regain those three bgls but hope i dont have to.View attachment 1706

Update: I am working thru all the files i have installed (40 GB) and i may have actually installed some duplicationg scenery, i was trying to add everything i could find for the Pacific islands and i had some of Kazuo Kawamura's sceneries and he did Bora Bora too, so that may be the cause of this problem. I will try turning things off one by one and see if i can find the problem.

Well i wokred on this off and on all day, trying to shut down various other files. I think i will have to re install the files for Ocen to see if i can at least get the default scenery back, for this is going no where. Still have that ugly white area. I ahve no idea why some scenery is blocking any texture at all.

Looks like you had this thread all to yourself! :icon_lol:

Glad you got it all figured out. I might have to give those sceneries a try.

A beautiful Island, having spent some time exploring the island, lagoon and motu's. On steamy hot day I rode a bicycle around the island. having stopped to run up a trail to one of the old Army 6" gun emplacements, I returned to the locked bike to find the seat had been stolen. Lotza fun riding a bike the second half of the way without a seat......

Lots of big Ray's in the lagoon, even went swimming with them. However apprently Hamerhead Sharks come in to the lagoon looking for the Rays who like to burry themselves in the sand. Dinn'a see any though.

Cheers: T
