• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Problem installing the Sj fw190a

Guys, I've been trying to install SJ_CFS3_FW190A_files_13-12-17 but I can't find the solution to fix the cannonballs and gunsight, which doesn't appear. I believe I followed the steps correctly by changing the files as indicated in the documents that came with the aircraft. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where this problem might be?

There is a note in the readme about the fix for the square tracers. The gunsite goes into the fx textures and a line or so must be entered into the TextureMagic.ini for the gunsight to properly work. Hope this helps. All the files needed to fix the square tracers are in the package. Regards,Scott
 
The included tracer bug fix does not always fix the issue, in which case, as Capt. Winters suggested here, go to effects/fxtextures and replace

tracerend5blue_orig.dds

if you find tracerside20blue.dds and tracerend20blue.dds, replace those with tracerside/end5blue_orig.dds too.

Also for the gunsight, make sure you have gunsight controls bound correctly in the control options.
