• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Problem with NEK redux edition

I installed the file, but, I could not find the file "unlimitedpilots.xml" that I needed to delete, so I searched for it and found that it was in a different location. I deleted it and tried to run the game. The new campaign shows up, but the screen flickers and the game is unplayable. Any ideas?
 
u didnt delete the unlimited pilots file thats in the main cfs3 folder did u??
 
I did this to the best of my ability. file:///C:/PROGRA~1/MICROS~4/COMBAT~1/NEK/docs/FINISH~1.HTM
 
the file that u need to delete should be in the C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Microsoft\Combat Flight Simulator 3.0

but in order to see this folder u need to click on the tools tab ,click on folder options,then click on the view tab, make sure the dot is in the "show hidden files and folders" then apply it and now u should find the folder u need and the unlimitedpilots file

oh btw this is XP instructions,if u have vista then im not sure if its the same directions
 
Thanks, I realized I didn't have all of the hidden files opened.
