Problems FSX crashing

Im wondering if anybody has had any problems with fsx crashing? It only crashes when i go to certain airports that i have gone to before. For example i used to takeoff out of Daytona Beach when i first got fsx in the fall 2007. Is there a fix to this or do i just have to deal with it?

That typically happens when you have add on textures that are conflicting...

1) remove the offending textures and see if it continues.....OR

2) Put FSX disk number 1 into the DVD drivs and allow it to run a repair..it may just be a texture file gone bad...
 
As Harlyman said, addon scenery can cause this.

I added a scenery package called Califorina Scenery or something like that, it had oil rigs and three or four airports. One airport was KVBG Vandenberg and another one was KMHV Movjave. Anyway I added it and then started experiencing OOM's at Edwards. Come to find out KMHV was causing FSX to contantly crash at Edwards and it would only do it after I landed at Edwards. It took me over two weeks to figure out what was causing it. I deleted KMHV and keep everything else that came with the CS package and everything was fine at Edwards after that.
