This is a known issue, and it's being discussed in the staff / Admins forum about the best way to fix this.

I am having the same problem.
I have done EVERYTHING that the admin has requested.
Still I cannot do a search.
Maybe that function is disabled but if so, why does the site say "we don't have permission", and why won't they correct it??????
WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE ATTEND TO THIS DISFUNCTION????

Seebee,

First, please calm down!

This has actually been turned off as a security feature to head off spammers and hackers who use the feature to get at user data.

If you want a target, pick on the pimple-faced, acne-scarred geek living in their parent's basement who causes Ickie headaches on a daily basis with their nonsense garbage.

If you need to look up something specific, that's what we're here for.

This is the one category I don't see, but I'll see what I can do.

I'm not sure if what I am about to describe is related, or a totally different matter, so here goes.

When I searched FS2004 Add-ons\FS2004 aircraft (a few seconds ago) it said there were 26 entries. However, if you actually count them, there are only 15.

Similarly for the other categories (Skins, Other). For example, I notice that today Skins says there are 72 entries whereas yesterday there were 66. And yet when I search all five pages, I don't see anything different than what was there yesterday. Actually, there are only 61 entries today, the same number as yesterday.

Are the numbers false, or are the uploads drifting into a black hole? :icon_eek:

We're looking at some options at this time and trying to decide which one will work best.

Thanks for the update, Willy. Updates re forum "mechanical" issues are a "Good Thing". It's also good to know that someone is "On It" before too many of US worry warts start to panic! :kilroy:

Cheers
