    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Problems with installing CFS3 ETO Expansion

Hi All,
After my CFS3 ETO Expansion game started to play up I decided to reinstall. Unfortunately I have given myself even bigger problems. After following closely the excellent video instructions from Hairyspin I found a fault that could be caused by something missing on my computor (W7 X64) When I get to the part asking to run A-mkdircfs3-etoexpansion.exe? It does so in an instant, not the usual running through various files where you are given the choice to y/n/a at the end. A CFS3 ETO Expansion folder is created, but if I continue and install CFS ETO Expansion -1.0 the first thing I notice is the CFS3 Icon missing in the CFS3 ETO Expansion program folder. If I continue on, the game wont play as there was a message at some stage that a DLL is missing and to reinstall the program.
Any help would be most appreciated.

having the same problem w MAW 1.31

MY MAW WILL MAKE FOLDER AND THEN WHEN TIME COMES TO TAKE ORG CFS3 FILES IT DOESNT DO IT AND LIKE STOPS AND DOES NOTHING MORE ????? WERID :banghead:
 
Hi dasgoot2002,

Try making a copy of the vanilla directory of CFS3 and rename it to CFS3 Mediterranean Air War.

Once you've done that, run the dr_cfs3_maw_c1_v1.3.exe file. The files should install to your MAW directory

That's what I had to do.
