Prop strike

PJ, since nobody has responded I will venture that a prop strike is probably generated by an algorithm involving prop diameter, engine location and location of the aircraft's center of gravity above ground. There are no damage box or system entries required in the dp file.

Thank you Tarpsbird, The plane I am working on just burries itself in the ground and the props keep running. I'll update the dp.

PJ, some CFS2 aircraft have props that tend to spin whether they've scraped the ground, the aircraft has crashed, or the engines have been shut down. I seem to recall there are some adjustments you can make to the air/cfg files to stop or minimize this but that is above my knowledge level.

Tarpsbird,

I am still working on this but at least I stopped the aircraft from completely digging into the ground when the wheels were up. I adjusted the aircraft cfg file. I would like to stop the props though.

Thank you for your efforts,:wavey:

It's in the .air file.

Engine location and prop diameter.

I use mostly spreadsheets and will have to look at the # in the file.

I'm sure Bearcat241 or Wolfi could clear this up from memory.

Try PM'ing them if they don't respond to this post.
