PTO Solomons characters problem

Have the JAAF pilot character in my CFS3 PTO Solomon Island install. He shows up when i start the sim but after QC he reverts back to a US character looking pilot. How can this be fixed ? Tried deleting UnlimitedPilots.xml but problem didn't change.

Delete the uisel.xml from your AppData pathway, not unlimitedpilots.xml. Uisel will show the last nationality that you flew in QC.

In the Missions folder in the min root of your instal, is a file called Frontend.xml. I would guess this is where your IJN character resides. Once you have cleared the uisel (which can be done by clearing fields rather than deleting the file), presumably the UI defaults back to the frontend.xml.

I would just clear up the aircraft references in qc and missions section of the uisel. Also the airfield and any related location information. This involves removing the stuff inside the "" marks. That should be enough for the ui to default to the information in the frontend.xml file. Did you look at the frontend.xml (under the root Missions folder) to see what aircraft/pilot is listed? If you get the uisel.xml right than the ui will revert to the aircraft and pilot in the frontend.xml.
