Serioulsy I don't know why but I'll try to supress the zx files in the terrains zip folders, before
lauching CFS3 again :iidea:,
- 2nd Or copy the terrains folders from a safe backup...
- 3rd I'll try to run Cfs3config, and lower the parameters on terrains...
- 4th there are masters here that will find a better idea...

Good luck

View attachment 32147:wavey:I think I fixed it. Saw this in readme.
Configuration recomendations by gecko:
The white square bug and perhaps the black water bug are due to the system not being able to handle the scenery. I've had this problem a lot and have found a few tweaks that helped me.
1. Using the cfs3 config tool go to the texture info page (file/custom settings/window/texture info) and change:
Composite Terrain Texture Pool, Composite Aircraft Texture Pool, Vertex Buffer Pool, and Index Buffer Pool settings to D3DPOOL_MANAGEDComposite Terrain Texture, Usage and Composite Aircraft Texture Usage settings to D3DUSAGE_RENDERTARGET
2. Move the vertex cache size slider all the way to the right.
Seems to be OK now:salute:

Are we talking about the PTO Solomon Islands addon or CFS2?

If its not CFS2, where is the stuff for Wake Island??

Thanx

I did find Pat Pattle's Wake Island out on Google. Haven't unwrapped it yet.
Is this the one???

:wavey: KellyB ; It's not cfs2, I only saw it in CFS3-PTO, I applied the confg settings to PTO, MAW, ETO, Pats BOB and Korea. Everything works great on my rig.

Here it is again:salute:
