QUERY: Pilots - FS Global ULTIMATE

Last year I purchased FS Global 2010. I can't recommend it enough. It's a great product.

Now there's something new. FS Global Ultimate. From an FS2004 standpoint, I'm approaching this very cautiously, wondering what benefits it's going to bring to my visual experience that's above and beyond what I already have with their previous release. Yes, I read what little they cared to share about it. Pictures they show, show nothing at all.
....So I'm asking, is there anyone here that can give justifiable reason in the benefit of spending (for a start) $59 for this product?

Given this is beneficial in a logical sense, a relative is wanting to know what I'd like for Christmas. This may be a consideration.
 
The question you must ask about any mesh is what is the LOD/meter and is it accurate.

If you have a mesh that is accurate and 38 meter the only way to top it is to increase the Lod to 19. Once you have a 19 meter mesh that is accurate how much better can it get?
 
Exactly why I'm asking. 19m is as good as it gets from what everyone has said or asked in similar inquiries. Including myself. I currently don't have a FSX machine that would benefit for that matter.
....Ever since the news of this new product I'm left scratching my head in wonder thinking what it will enhance. The lack of any information relevant in regards to fs2004 or FSX leaves the product in the dark.
