Question about CFS3 Tactical Display

edakridge

SOH-CM-2023
Is there a way to map the Tactical Display zoom function to a HOTAS? I know Shift+Control+T will zoom it in, but I would like to map this to a button on my throttle. In FSX/P3D I would do this with FSUIPC, but as far as I know FSUIPC won't work with CFS3.

My Logitech Force 3D Pro joystick comes with applications software that let's me map each of the 12 buttons to any key combination I want, and CFS3 just sees it as if I typed them in.

I use a Saitek X-55 and never installed the software. I guess I need to if I'm going to fly CFS3 much.

CFS3 has the ability to change key assignments like every other game, just make a new configuration and set everything up as you wish. If CFS3 doesn't recognize that particular button on your joystick, Andy's suggestion will work as well.
