Question about files in weapons folder

hi...i have a question about files in weapons folder...i have checked all the weapons folders in my cfs3 install and find that these folders, g_gun_109 and it has only g_gun_109.m3d in it, no matching xdp file...same for these folders, gun_gondola103 and gun_gondola108, a_azon, just the m3d file and no xdp...

should there be matching xdp files for these m3d files?

Hello superashi,

The .xdp is the damage model file (and the .bdp is its game-generated binary equivalent), so if these stock weapons don't have one, they have no damage model and are probably inactive models included for scenery and unaffected by your withering machine-gun or cannon fire. :tgun2:

This also means they can't fire back...
