• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Question about Phase 3..

This may be a stupid question, but after playing a few missions now with phase 3 I noticed something is missing that i quite enjoyed in Phase 2.. the red pointer and small yellow aircraft tracker.. I know in the sake of immersion its not needed, but i knda liked to have it, as it made it easier to follow your prey especially when their camo blends perfect to the ground.. Spad anyone..

anyways how do i reactivate this tracker? besides this the game is immaculate! :friday: :friday:
 
I know there is a checkbox in the config for disabling the targeting cone, the red arrow thingy, but there is also a key combination to toggle it (don't remember what it is... check the "controls" menu while in game). Make sure it is unchecked in the config. The yellow brackets are toggled with Ctrl+Shift+I... don't remember if there is a config button for them.

On a related note, I hate those brackets, but like you, sometimes want help tracking bandits. There is a file you can replace that switches the brackets to a little dot. Much less intrusive, in my opinion. I am pretty sure the file is available in the downloads section. Search for "brackets" or some such. While I used it with P2, I have yet to switch it in P3.

Thanks a lot i will definitly give that a shot now, sometime i just like to have the freedom to track or not and im sure this option will be the best bet :)
