Question about the freeware F-27

Killbilly

SOH-CM-2025
I'd love to give this a try, but I read the documentation that says you have to switch your cockpit control settings to "legacy" to use the click spots. Is this really true?
The model looks nice, but I don't want to have to change my settings every time I fly the plane and then change them back for all my other flights.
Is anyone here flying it without switching the settings, and if so, does it work?

I've been flying this superb model since it was released using the 'Modern' flight model and haven't noticed any problems...

Give it a try (y)

You may have that set already for mouse control - isn't the alternative the XBOX-friendly setting?
It's not the FM setting...

I'm not on my flight rig right now, but I agree that it's probably talking about the mouse interaction setting. I think the console-friendly setting is called Lock(?), while the traditional PC setting is Legacy.

Weird. Apparently, I've been flying on PC this whole time with it set to "lock."

Hey, anyone know how to get the GPS to show up on the GPS variants? All of the liveries that say GPS have no GPS. There doesn't seem to be any option in either of the "flight manuals" (where you can control the doors or look up your speeds). I can't find any clickspot to enable it. I've read the documentation, and I couldn't find it in there (though I'm old and may have just missed it).
