question about throttle use...

i finally learned how to use FSUIPC4 correctly to set all my throttle levers,,prop,,mixture..i have mapped cowl flaps to the levers, the flaps, and gear up/down....i also set all my buttons and switches using it aswell....i was satisfied with my setup and decided i would stick to single and twin engine aircraft only...but i really want the B29,recessed window and all...

is there an easy way to tell my setup to use left throttle for left engines?..and same with right side?...i know i could set the B29 by itself in fsuipc..but then will i lose my settings for the rest of my planes?...plus if i do that..i will lose my cowls,gear,flaps..ect on the b29...what to do..what to do...

Quite easy.

Go to the joystick calibration tab in FSUIPC, go to page 3 (Separate throttles per engine). Go to engine 4 in the lower right corner and check the checkbox that says map 1->12, 2->34. Hit OK and you're good to go.

You can make adjustments to FSUIPC as you wish. Commands won't effect planes that don't use those commands. If you plan on making changes to throttle levers you already have assigned, a new profile is handy. For example, my GA aircraft fly on a general profile but if I need to make changes, I create a new profile as needed. in this example, All my GA stuff is good but if I want to fly a helicopter, my settings are a little different and I set up a profile specific to Helicopters. Making a new profile, General settings will transfer over and you can make changes to the axis' you need changed. Quite easy really. Hope I didn't confuse you more.
