Question for our far northern neighbors

Anyone ever seen an AI flightplan set for Buffalo?

The repaints shouldn't be too hard using Cal Classic's vintage AI. (And Mike Stone's Cat) It would sure make airports like Yellowknife and Hay River a little more interesting.

Brian-

I found one at ProjectAI.

File name: Buffalo_Airways-BFL-Canada_Wi03_FP.zip

It's for one DC-3 running between Hay River and Yellowknife.

According to their web site the only scheduled passenger flights are two daily flights between Yellowknife and Hay River. Everything else is charter.

[edit] Thanks, fnkybnch. Ultimate Traffic for FS9 used to include the Buffalo Airways flight plans, but for some reason they dropped them in their last update, and the program is no longer being updated.

Sidney is right on the Buffalo Schedule. Also remember we have First Air, Canadian North and occasional Air Canada, and Tindi.

Lookin good, Sid!!!!

As for the AI, I was thinking about some "Generic" flightplans between Yellowknife and some of the airports they go to on a regular basis. Might not be completely accurate but it would help populate the airport some.

Brian

Edit: I've got First Air, Air North and Tindi AI already

From the Buffalo website:
"Soon to have a web link to view our aircraft activity.
Powered by Latitude Technologies
"
Once that's up it should be easy to get some idea of the flight skeds and/or times.

Not unreasonable to have 'regular' (every 2-3 days) trips to/from Diavik & Ekati, CYVQ.
The winter 'food run' is YZF - CYWJ (Deline) - CYVQ (Norman Wells) - CZFN (Tulita) - CYZF (normally with the c-46 2 or 3 trips a week.
Coppermine (CYCO) with a side trip to CYWO once a week would be a fair guess.
For the heck of it one could create a "sked" to CYFS to compete with First Air

Summertime trips to just about any of the communities (fishing/cargo charters)
And don't forget shuttle trips to CYQF (Red Deer) for overhauls (esp. the bombers)

The Ice Pilots show should fill in more data as the episodes continue.

Remember to wear your Buffalo gear when you fly...

Ohhhhh Sidney!!
I'm almost getting 'homesick' :applause::applause:
That's what I like to hear. :mixedsmi:

It's getting there....about 90% done. The only remaining major bit of work left is modeling the terminal/tower building in Gmax. Pete's busy with the fences, lights, ramp objects and other detail work. Tim's assistance has been invaluable...it would not have been possible without him. :medals:
