Hey guys,
Essex103 sent me a PM with this question, and requested a thread be opened. (Essex103, you can do this yourself by hitting the "Post New Thread" button and doing exactly what I just did)
While I am new to SOH, I have run CFS2 for many years and with many add-ons on a Vista PC which, unfortunately, recently died.
I have done a fresh install of CFS2 onto a Win 7 and can play the basic game with some add-ons. (87 Days, F4F at Guadalcanal etc) I have also been able to download certain aircraft from SOH but repeated attempts to either use aircraft from my Vista backup library or fresh downloads result in a screen with a gun sight only and no joy (though full pix shows in the choose aircraft screen). The "installer" which appears in the aircraft folder gets an error message when tried though I have downloaded the Adobe AIR app.
I wanted to pose this problem to the community but cannot see where or how to do so. Any help would be appreciated and it is great to see how rich the CFS2 world remains after all these many years.
Thanks, Essex103
