Question on Conversion to CFS2

Members +
Kazunori Ito made a Potez 630 with two aircraft. Has anyone ever converted them to CFS2 and Made a Aircraft.cfg file separating the two aircraft and DP and Air files? I am interested in the Potez 63-11 aircraft. It is a fine aircraft. I can not find the eyepoint in the aircraft to work on a panel for this plane. If You have already done the leg work on this plane sing out. Thanks. :encouragement::encouragement::encouragement::encouragement:

Kazunori Ito doesn't want his aircraft converted to CFS2 so one one has done so.

I have converted the P33-11 did not know he did not want us to enjoy his creation and make it better. I will shoot it down over the fields of France tomorrow, to it fires of death. Never more to fly again in CFS2. If anyone knows of another model of the plane please let me know. I do enjoy working with these models of Aircraft and making new panels for them. I also want to be politically correct and follow the rules of Order. :encouragement::encouragement::encouragement::encouragement::encouragement::banghead:

Potez 63.111

Hi Folks,

I followed Captain Kurt's instructions and downloaded Dombrai's Potez 63.11 .
I then loaded it into the sim for France and it comes up with "Failed to load Visual Model" , so I changed the sound , changed the panel and after five attempts; I'm still getting "Failed to load Visual Model ".

Has anyone else had this problem ? If so , how do you fix it ?

You need to change the model file to match what is in the model. even then you get some strange changing of files size. still working on it. good luck:encouragement::encouragement::encouragement:

I just downloaded it to take a look. Dombral has 3 different named models in the aircraft model folder. However, the model.cfg file shows the .mdl name as P6311sc. None of the mdl files have that name. I don't know what Dombral intended there, but the model.cfg name has to match the .mdl name.

You could try renaming the .mdl files, one by one, to p6311sc.mdl and open the aircraft to see which one is the right model.

Potez 63.11

Hi Captain Kurt,

It worked changed the model names to Potez 6311sc and everything was solved.

However the aircraft has some strange habits;when it loads there is a Gunner at the rear and a Observer/Bomber at the front But when you retract the wheels after take-off they both disappear !! Strange but amusing !!

Regards and thanks again for the help,
