Greetings all:
I am having a problem - once again in windows 11 - with Wolfi's Avenger. As an AI-aircraft, it loads and performs as desired. When used as the player aircraft, either in a mission or free flight, the mission crashes to desktop as soon as it tries to load. I followed the installation instructions to the letter, installed all the weapons and deleted .cdp after each attempt.

Can anyone think of what I may be missing? I have 2 .dp files for this plane; the original at 21 kb and another at 23 kb. I get the same result with both... no error messages, just a CTD. :banghead:

Have you had this problem with any others of his Avengers?

It's the panel bitmaps. They're 1024 x 768 & WIN 7 & later OS don't like this...

Quick fix is to get one of my skinpacks, IIRC they all have the panel bitmaps resized to 1600 x 1200 instead.
 
You are using an Avenger from Lexington.There are 3 textures for the Essex Avengers.1 is 1943-44,another is Early 1944 and one is 1945.

Just making a suggestion.

I got the skin for VT9/1943-44 with the d/l recommended by UT above.
