What a change, or .........careful what you wish for. Just DL the latest patch, and went for a flight.
QC me in a DVII with 3 others, against 4 Brit's flying Sop Camels. Settings at Veteran for all flyers, Flak at low and rookie.
I had a most difficult time emulating the Camels flight path. It seemed they were out turning my craft, and for me to follow, I stalled it, ( Seen in the Review notes). When they took out the other blokes, it had me against 3. Couldn't shake them, out turn, out climb them, and so it was a GG method, a dirt nap, with a few hundred rounds of lead.
Is the AI too good of a thing?
Without being a wimp, is the solution to set the AI to Rookie?
I am surmising it is mostly fuel load that allows the AI to turn on a dime?
In the theatre of WWI, it was quite evident from the research I have done, for you to " get out of a bad mix up" and leave. So this leads to my next question which is; Is this a QC thing, or are you unable to shirk your opponent in either QC or Campaign?
It is truly a MAGNIFICIENT SIM.
