Well...............
Yo Jay;
You have 2 choices:
#1 Easy:
Fly CFS2 from a server based multiplayer setup called CFS2 Flight Deck against people you do not know.

#2 Difficult:
Use CFS2's multiplayer & connect to people you know.
There is too much to explain here about how to do this.
A group of us have been experimenting with this but are having mixed results. YES it is possible but there are many variables & glitches.
CFS2 multiplayer was designed to operate on a dial-up connection not on DSL.
In a nutshell: the host of any session needs to have a static port to the internet in order for this to operate.
(for the other players to connect to) If you understand the differences between static & dynamic ports;
(unlocked router) then you are about one third way there.
We have had 6 players up at once, although 2 suffered F/R degradation until they could no longer fly. More work is required to iron out this bug. We talk via an instant messaging service using audio.
It's a real "blast" to fly against "live meat" instead of AI & shoot the crap outta yer friends.
But it's not an easy or simple thing to set-up.
