Questions on Enemy AI

I was wondering what the different enemy AI levels are in OFF P3 BHAH.

I noticed in the QC there are 3 , Rookie, Veteran, Ace.

1. Are these three used in campaigns?

2. Are there other levels (up or down) not shown in QC?

3. Are named Aces in campaign play automatically set at Ace level AI?

4. Where can I set these for the campaigns (what files are used)?

I believe the campaign automatically adjusts the level and mix of the AI pilots in the various AI flights to match how elite or poor their squadron was historically.

right, my question is what are those values and which file.

I am not sure it's as accurate as it determing how elite a unit was but I could be wrong.

It is researched data, squads will change through time.

1. Yes where possible, currently rookie is not used but we may add it later.
2. Nope you can't add "better" aces or whatever.
3. Yes aces are aces.
4. It's done via data in the manager not data you can edit.

Very cool!

Unless Rookie causes a flying issue of some sort (which I htink it does) it might be interesting to run into someone that does not know what they are doing (it did happen historically) as far as I can tell (and its not a complaint but just an observation) a lot of non named pilots are flying as hard and as difficult as named Ace pilots etc.

So a non named pilot still has the ability to be generated as an Ace correct?

I am asking these questions because I am very fascinated by the campaign manger, it's the best I have ever seen. it's worth the price of the DVD alone...my hats off to you (again):ernae:
