Quick Heads up: movie Le Mans on TCM at 8:00.

Not listed here in SD but I have a copy. Absolutely one of the best (if not THE BEST) racing movies ever.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Hi-Def, 55-in wide screen, surround sound (cranked up), no commercials. I never got to see it in the theater when it came out, as I was doing my country's duty at the time. Had seen it on TV with commercials before, but this was absolutely the best I have seen it on TV. Stayed glued to the screen, no love story, little dialogue, but as real as a racing movie can be, more like a documentary. Thanks Steve McQueen for bucking Hollyweird and doing it your way. :applause:
 
Discovered it on DVD a few years ago Caz, it's worth hunting up for the sheer indulgence of watching it when you get fed up with the present scene.

It's good to see a hollywood movie where there's no story whatsoever to interfere with the action... :icon_lol:

Great fun to watch though! Been reading a few background stories recently and it's almost a miracle this movie was completed...
