Quick question re CFS3 and windows 7 64 bit

I have CFS3 on windows xp pro. If I backed up all files onto a portable hard drive could I just install cfs3 on a new (windows 7) system and then overwrite the main folder and then still run the game?
Also, what are the issues with windows 7 and cfs3?
Thanks one and all :salute:

Look for this sticky above 'Windows 7 install fix'.

You will need to run cfs3config.exe before you first run the game. When you run the game useing cfs3.exe the game will set itself up (of course you will need the CD in unless you use the method we do not dicuss here). There was a thread the other day about where the game folders go in Vista and 7.

Korea, MAW, PTO and ETO are the same.

Whats this about a "fix".

I just installed CFS3 into Windows 7 64bit Ultimate.

Never had a problem..:wiggle:

Google really is my friend

So glad I stumbled across this thread!

Look forward to getting it up and running!
