I read somewhere that [SIZE=-1]Dave Garwood's Beaufighter is for FS9 as well as FSX, but I can seem to find it. Is this true, or am I wrong.

I believe it's for FSX only. I have it installed there... but never tried it for FS9.

Unfortunately the Beaufighter Dave Garwood have DDS texture format .. so it's incompatible with FS9 (texture BMP format)

[SIZE=-1]FS2002/FS2004 Bristol Beaufighter Mk21. This airframe is an Australian manufactured Beaufighter. Eight rockets were installed under the main wing, and this was equipped with four 12.7mm machine guns in the main wing unlike the airframe of a British standard. To avoid misidentification with a Japanese military airplane, a red circle at the center of the nationality mark was erased and a square mark on the tail was drawn only in blue and white. I wonder if converting the texture files might be enough to make it work, but might as well assume that somebody has tried that all ready?:isadizzy:
Bismarck13 (William Dickens) has a series of Beaufighters that he did for CFS2....but they work great in FS9...since he does all testing and screenshots in FS9. They are in the library...but not working at the moment. Not sure if he uploaded them to Simviation or not. Lots of different models....even one with Rolls Royce Merlins..and I think he did a dedicated FS9 version of that one. All modeled with FSDS 2.24...so all animations work in FS9. Don't expect all the bells and whistles in the VCs...no clickable switches and that sort of stuff.

EDIT: I just did a couple of test downloads on Bismarck13 Beaufighters (one CFS2 one and the FS9 one) and both files are downloading just fine. Looks like they are available here after all...which is good because they aren't on SimV.

Sorry, unfortunately the model format is pure FsX, so no-go in Fs9. It's not the texs, it's the model. It's such a shame that Dave only made it for FsX (I'm still very grateful as it's a freebie and a superb model!)....And SHhhhh, if he had made it for Fs9, we could have had it in CFS2 as well..
