Radio chatter in ETO 1ETON?

Hi all,
Is there a way to bring over the radio chatter mod from BoB over to ETO 1.40? I'd over to add in lines such as "Cleared for take-off" and anything involving ground control. Anyone know of a way to do that? I think it would greatly enhance the realism of my BoB series.

Also it would be great to have different commands in french and to link them to french pilots.:a1310:
 
Hi Chris,

I'm pretty sure I uploaded a chatter pack (this is Geckos work btw) to SoH. The effects.xml is already loaded into the ETO from 1.4 with the necessary entries it's just a matter of porting over the aircraft and vehicles if I remember correctly.

The BoB chatter doesn't work quite as intended, the pack should have the corrected files in so you don't hear random calls anymore.

Hi all,

Clive, to set up ground communications, IE such as take off and landing clearance, is it the exact same procedure as setting up the mod for AI aircraft?

I'm not 100% sure on how I would go about setting up the ground communications. Or, could I create a facility with the ground communications set up?

Also! I found a website that has all sorts of other languages for radio chatter mods. Like Spanish, Italian, French, and believe it or not, even Russian!

I think we should get in touch with the authors of those works and see if we can include them in CFS3 ETO or MAW or even PTO.

I don't have any time to work on this at the moment I'm afraid but I did find some more of Daniels work for you.

This pack has the take off and landing orders included (in a mission). The possibilities with this work are huge but it does take a bit of effort and head scratching!

I only ever set it up for RAF and LW but you could have any language by adding the required effects and sound entries.

The take-off chatter really adds to the immersion factor! For some reason the landing chatter isn't working.

Any suggestions? I'm also trying to set up a "Radar reports bandits in your sector and "No more bandits" type of chatter.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to do that?

Never mind the previous post! Got it all fixed up! Turns out I was doing something wrong lol
