This has been sitting on my HD for ages, originally going to be released with my Wyton scenery but i sort of lost intrest in it untill i discoverd some great Alconbury repaints for Nick Blacks RF-4 model, so i dragged it out into the sunlite.
Ive gone down the fairly basic route, there's a version well advance'd by the ACG team so i didnt want to work too hard, you'll need a few basic MAIW librarys including some from the French Mirage packs but most of you should have these already installed.

There's also a traffic file using Mark Walsh's 10th TRW repiants for Nick Blacks RF-4E AI model
look for--- ai_rf-4c_10trw_ar.zip --- over at Avsim, this is a complete aircraft and easy to install.

Id also like to recommend a repaint by John Young for the Alphasim/Virtavia freeware F4 pack that fits in with this scenery, look for 10trwjy.zip over at Flightsim.com

cheers ian

PS, respect the neigbours when on finals :)

The F-4's on final approach on Rwy30 always disrupted my TV picture in the block at Wyton and the TR-1's were worse cause the approach speed was that bit slower. Now I can virtually disrupt some airman's TV picture.

Thanks guys, i did wonder about this when i made the scenery, checked on Google earth when i started just to see how close Wyton is or if MS had made a mistake, Wyton is really close and i wonderd if there where any flight restrictions but i guess not.
cheers ian

Don't quote me on this but I think they had a USAF controller in Wyton's tower and used to alternate Rwys, say Wyton was on 27 Alconbury used 30

Thats a maybe though :kilroy:

Voodoo is correct, I worked in the tower at Wyton (1982-3) and there were always USAF controllers in Wyton approach when Alconbury were flying.
