I have not used FS9 in a while but with all the excellent Canberra packages and Phantom repaints appearing I am going to get back in the air again.

Before I start again I want to rebuild my FS9 install, can anyone recommend any good cold war era UK scenery and AI packages please.

Many thanks

Well, I did it...

Got the Team SDB UK Cold War scenery. Very nice.

Took my first hop from RAF Alconbury to RAF Colerne. Here's some screen shots.

Don't forget John Young's Scampton (fs02 with fs04 update);
Honington by UKMil / John Young
Coningsby (same as Honington)
and Gary Summons UK 2000 part 7 demo (flightsim) has a rather nice Waddington

add-in the bomber 'bolt-hole' bases

Llanbedr (Classic Brit files)
St Mawgan; Lyneham (Alphasim freeware)
Boscombe Down (UK2000)
Shawbury (UK2000)
Wattisham (IIRC UKmil / ACG)

and a couple of others

Dishforth; Linton-on-Ouse (another version) and Topcliffe (with Catterick 'bonus') Stephen Legg and friends
'Military Airfields in Yorkshire' package (ecky-thump!)

West Raynham (IIRC by Ian Elliott)

plenty more to choose from

Finningley is now 'Doncaster Robin Hood'; and Middleton St George is now Durham-Teeside

[SIZE=-1] FS2004 Scenery--RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge. Scenery of the former United States Air Force "Twin" bases of RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge as they were in their operational state before closure in 1993. Built with the help of the Bentwater's Cold War Museum, the scenery contains nearly every building on both airfields yet retains a high frame rate. Includes an AI package of A-10, F-16 and C-130 aircraft. By Ian, John and Stevo at The Airfield Construction Group.

[SIZE=-1] FS2004 Scenery--RAF Wethersfield, UK. Wethersfield during the war was opened as a satellite airfield for Ridgewell but by 1944 had become home of A-20 Havocs of the USAAF, returned to the RAF and then closed after the war. Wethersfield had a second lease of life by becoming home in 1952 to the USAF 20th TFW, initially flying F-84s and then moving on to F-100s until 1970 when the 20th TFW had to move to Upper Heyford to operate the new F-111s.
