RAF Portsmouth location global layer

That is true, as the websites quoted say. In any case nowhere near Bath! I have no idea why ACC added Portsmouth as well as Gosport, although possibly it was used as a satellite or emergency field.

It was home to the Airspeed factory, pretty much any airfield was an emergency use facility, like nearby Cowes,
for example

But you're right it shouldn't be near Bath
