RAF Scampton Animation Pack Uploaded

Have just uploaded the animation pack to SoH

Includes the taxiing and static Halifaxes, crew trucks and drivable Albion Tanker.
Comes with the test mission as per the videos.

This is for the ETO install. There are a few airfields based on Scampton in it so you could add the paths and moving entries to any of them.
The vehicles and halifax models can be used in any install.

:redf: Oops, there's a small problem with the facility file - when selecting a ground start in QC your a/c will explode! This is the result of some tests I was doing but didn't put the original co-ords back in.

Have attached the corrected file or if you're compfortable editing the facility this is the correct line for the runway entry:

Scampton animation problem



Hi guys I’m having a problem with Scampton animation. The hangers don’t show up and there is no vehicle or aircraft movement. This worked when I first installed it, now it’s not. The pic show what I get at mission start. Am I missing something?

I have a problem;I putted Scampton on QC in order to get a feeling of the animation from the air and it worked great! but now when I attemp to use another airfield in QC or another level (ex. 2500ft) the moment I select the location button the game shuts down.:isadizzy:

Sounds very odd. Are you using the same aircraft? Does it still work in the mission?

There's nothing in there that should cause a problem like this. What else have you added to the install recently?

Can you post a screenie of what you are seeing please, as it is just before you hit the location button.

Hi Guys,

Gosd,

try deleting the uisel.xml file inside the application data folder, this will set the start location to fowlmer in Britain, your aircraft back to P47 and I think from memory a 109 as the enemy.

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME HERE\Application Data\Microsoft\CFS3 ETO Expansion_________\uisel.xml

dont worry the game will build a new one when you restart the game.

This wont fix the problem (if indeed it is related to the scampton set) but it will get your locations working again. Then maybe you could do a few tests and see if you can repeat the problem. Sometimes (i'm not sure why) the usiel file becomes corrupted, and deleting it seems to fix the issue.
