RAF Tangmere, for FS9

Tangmere was an important airfield in west Sussex on the south coast of England, a sector airfield during the Battle of Britian and
for fighter sweeps into northern France during 41 and 42.
Very active during the Dieppe raid of Aug 42 and the Overlord landings, home to both single engined fighters and twin engined light bombers,
also home to 161 special duty sqd Lysanders for agent dropping due to its closeness to northern France.

Many of the large hangers were destroyed during raids in August 40, which give's the impresion somethings missing,
my scenery is based around the 42-44 time period

Ive made up some alternative ground bgl's for GW user's, look in the "Alt Ground BGL" folder and transfer over to your scenery folder, make sure you safe the original's in case you want them back. ive also included excludes this time :)

Hi Ian,
Great choice, an important RAF base from begining to end of the war.

Looks superb, many thanks.

Cheers
