RAF Vehicles

Pat Pattle

SOH-CM-2024
Does anyone have any links to drawings, photos etc. of RAF vehicles please? I'm going to start on some models soon but can't find much info on the net.

I've just bought a nice looking set of Lledo 1/76 die-cast models that I could scale if necessary, but I'm not convinced of their accuracy!

Thanks,

Pat :ernae:

:kilroy:Clive, please watch it with all that flattery, Bro, or you'll turn my pwetty head. :costumes::p87::costumes::monkies::d

P.S. Glad to have been of assistance.

Though I usually never contribute to these kinds of threads - I am not much of a beer drinker myself - I did enjoy the local beer when I was in Canada this summer - Yukon Gold. (And before you call me a convert, I haven't had a beer since my return :d :d:d)

And even with plenty of fresh water to drink in the Outdoors, the brewing company also thought of a handy item for those suffering from acute "hypobeeria".

:costumes::costumes::costumes: I must admit, that picture you posted of the spitfire ale, really looks mouthwatering, I may try and source a couple for the weekend, ( Lowering my standards i know, but dont worry I shall tell the shopkeeper its for someone else :costumes::costumes::costumes: )

Back on topic :) First of a few RAF BoB era vehicles, a Thornycroft J type (ish!). It's not yet recieved it's camo paint but the bright-works been painted for the blackout. The yellow patch on the bonnet is a gas marker.
