SOH-CM-2024
RAF Warmwell, for FS9

Set in the beautiful Dorset countryside, near Dorchester and Portland. A 10 group fighter station during the Battle of Britian, raids across the channel 41-43, and home to 474FG USAAF P-38's from spring 44

Ive made up some alternative ground bgl's for GW user's, look in the "Alt Ground BGL" folder and transfer over to your scenery folder, make sure you safe the original's in case you want them back. ive also included excludes this time :)

British vehicles library by Edmundo Abad, converted by Shessi
Westland Whirlwind by Ito, with a repaint by Ranger75 (static can be removed by removing Whirlwind Static bgl)

Most of these objects, you should already have by now, but just in case---
RAF Manston 44 FS9.zip
Ted Andrews RAF building library.zip
Wofi Library Objects.zip (converted to FS9 by Desert Rat), both found in the SOH library

Ive used the building objects from my Bradwell Bay scenery but ive reworked the texture's, if you prefer these, copy
"bradtex1.bmp" and "Leistoncontrol.bmp" from RAF Warmwell/texture to RAF Bradwell Bay/texture and RNAS Grimsetter/texture

Time to give some love to the Westland Whirlwind, Enjoy :)

Many thanks Ian,

Another nice addition to the SW.

Funny, as I will be in Broadmayne for the Armour & Embarkation event in about an hour's time, which is about 2 miles from what was RAF Warmwell!

Cheers

Thanks Ian,

One of these days I’ll get my FS rig done and be able to see it in the sim.

Thanks for all your efforts Ian. It works perfect for me no forest textures for me and no trees on the airfield.

Cheers,
Huub
