RAF662 CFSG - 10 years...

Congratulations
couldnt have done it without them

Happy Birthday RAF_662! It's been a long time since the days of furballing in the skies over Interlaken in CFS 1. Whatever happened to RAF_Yank and RAF_Diablo?

Merc Air's 10th will be this year sometime. Not sure about the exact date (or even month). I'll probably just pick one :costumes:

No idea. Diablo I think, just lost interest.
Yank has to be at least 85 now so he's more interested in staying alive I suspect. ;)

Dang...how time does fly when we're having fun! 10 years for the 662 boys, Wow!
Been years since those "beer runs" at that little liqour store just outside Interlaken.
And what about all those midnight raids from the Cantina on that little base just south of Rochford? Heh...good thing you 662 boys never learned how to use those AA guns! :d

I haven't popped in over there for quite a while now...gonna have to stop in and rattle the rafters again. Loke, Smoky, Diab, and of course who could forget that ornery Slingblade character! ;) Good times!

(Sorry Sling...I had to sticky this one! Congratulations!)

Not many of the old crowd still around. As for Yank, I know of a couple of other WWII flying vets that post online and was hoping he was still active. Yank's stories of flying P-47s in the ETO were classics.

Speaking of the old crowd, he's not one of the RAF bunch, but TwistedOak still posts over at Trog's once in a while as does Hank.

Congrats! My two fondest memories of CFS were the Interlaken-Berne bomb runs, and doing patterns on the HMS Ark Royal:ernae:

RAF662 gave me my first Quality European Planes for CFS2. I still fly them! Congrats and thanks for opening the "tinkering" side of the flight sim world for me.:friday:
