Rami's RAAF campaign packages updated

In the read me of part 2 there is a part that says to download instructions for Rhum's LOD mesh set. I tried the link and it takes me to an outhouse page that says I need to sign in. I can't see anything about it on that page. I may have the items (about 22 items?) I'm not sure about the part about using the stock Pacific coastines with Rhum's stuff. Can you tell me where to find this info? It's been a long time since I installed those items. Perhaps it's best to re-download these files, the ones I have are from years ago. They may have been updated since then. Sorry to bug ya!

Cheers .... Rick

Rami RAAF

Rick

Since Rami has been back he is probably swamped with request. I have found that once you have loaded both parts of RAAF, you will find two coastlines in the SceneDB. There are two one Rami uses and an alternative. Find "add to Scenery.cfg" I would use the coastlines Rami uses in this file. Just add Lindsey Watts files as instructed and follow the rest of Rami's instructions. I fly this program a lot.

Thanks Mack! I found an install guide for installing all the dang DEM files etc. It's all starting to come back to me, slowly! I saved all my cfs2 stuff on discs years ago.

Braveheart,

Actually, it's not so much the requests as it is I'm spending a lot of time with my kids as the summer wanes. Thursday morning, we're leaving early and heading to Maine for the day, and then beginning Saturday, the next six days or nights I'll be involved with Vacation Bible School.

In the midst of that I'm also tweaking lesson plans, getting my classroom ready for the year, and prepping for another semester of grad school.

Rickyo, just make sure you're using this PTO guide, tweaked for the Pacific: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?action=jump&catid=49&id=6050

I'm also hellbent on releasing BoF Part I before I go back to school and work on September 4th.

Braveheart - Thanks for covering for me!

Hey bud, I was just hoping any member might have an answer. Anyway I think, I hope I have it all installed. Amazing for me! Spelled scenery wrong and it told me a file did not exist. Had to redo the display settings. Scary moments until I figured that out. Flew a couple of missions and all seems great. It looks really good bud! Can't wait until morning and have a real go at it! Thanks so much for this masterpiece!

Cheers Rami ....Rick

Good morning everyone,

Rickyo noticed a small error with Part II of the campaign...in the SCENEDB folder, the MaskRider Papua New Guinea package lacked the underscores that were present in the scenery.cfg file, which prevented that scenery layer from loading properly. While that alone could have just been posted here, I took the opportunity to update the Coral Sea missions that use the USS Lexington and switched the carrier model from the old VN model to the new Stuart277 model.

Thanks to Rickyo for bringing this to my attention. You may grab the new Part II package from the library at your leisure, or from my box.net site. :wavey:
