Great shot, Noddy! I was with the Rampagers from 1987-90, when they transitioned from Corsair IIs to Hornets, and deployed with them on the USS Saratoga (CV-60). I took a closer look at your screenshot.....and see the name of CDR "Dizzy" Gillespie on the side. He was skipper of VFA-83 when I transferred from the squadron in December of 90. The ship was in Haifa, Israel at the time. A ferry boat had capsized in the harbor, and 22 sailors from the ship drowned; one of them being a sailor who worked for me. I escorted his body back home to Albuquerque, and transferred to shore duty in Pensacola.
