• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

this rap video was done at a small local fire dept near Woodland Ca,the firefighter seen in the video is catching guff locally,maybe wider spread as far as i can tell,for his language in the video,and for using the engine while on duty,at issue with people in the fire service is that he takes the engine out,uses "code three" on the street,and is alone on the engine away from the station....to me..we have no idea how far from the station they are,the the engineers firefighters could be standing right there watching for all anyone knows,,ready to roll if they got a call.many many fireman have gone on to streets and messed around with lights and sirens on the streets..

i just dont think its all that bad....and i saw no complete nudity or anything...sure theres a pretty girl..and were to get the idea that someones so hot they need a fire engine...( i think thats the meaning,i dont understand rap,and i cant understand a thing this guy says)....

 
Maybe it's an age thing, but I just don't understand what rap is all about, it's not even music!

Not only that, but most of the time there's a great deal of profanity. It's most definitely NOT music. Some may argue it is a form of artistic expression. Whatever. NC

Well, that's simple, tell him never to do that again, and any royalties earned must go to the fireman's benevolent fund (or whatever equivalent you have in the U.S).

fire stations do all sorts of things, they dont fight fires 24/7 and its very rare they need to use "all" the engines in the shed. They go round for TV shows, films, do school vists etc. There always fully crewed and in touch with the house, so if needed they'll just jump in and go.

Personally i think its just the press reporting a no story just for the sake of having summing to say to fill in the local 24/7 news channel.

LMAO, yeah it was really bad and I watched it to the end. If the guy driving the engine acted alone, then suspension for a bit for having really poor judgement. His one line in the video reflects on the shole squad, wonder what is coworkers thought.
 
Amazes me that this form of non-music is still going, it's been over 30 years! High culture eh?
 
I agree with the sentiment that rap is just bad, but I don't really see that they did anything wrong. I like that one to Panther!
