Sea story time.

I was on a det from Pax River, MD, on the Kitty Hawk back in 1974. A shipmate of mine (ADJ3 Jim Lytle) was on Hangar Deck watch for our aircraft. I walked into the hangar looking for him. As I passed by one of the two A-7s we had onboard, I distinctly heard loud snoring. Jim had climbed into the intake and was fast asleep. His snoring was amplified by the intake! I woke him up before he was caught sleeping on watch..........
