RAZBAM P-3 WIP

Back in the 70's I flew across the Atlantic in a Reserve P-3

Stopped in the Azores for fuel and wine!
Then on to Pax River, MD...

She looks great!

Well you guys have a customer ready and waiting here when she is finished!! More classic Navy metal. Can't beat it with a stick.

Strange...my earlier post seems to have been deleted....

all I wanted to know was if there would be other variants. Did I ask something wrong?

You probably did something wrong in posting and it didn't show....We haven't determined what models will be developed. To start we will go with the P3C that was used in the 80s before the last upgrade.

having been aircrewman on P-3 for 12 years...I am watching from the wings. Having done many engine starts and high powers I'm interested to see how close she is for start up. Watch those APU temps!

Another absolutely fantastic bird Raz! I see these doing touch and go's at McChord all the time. I had a 4 year break in service and when I tried to get back in, the only branch taking prior service was the Navy and the only two choices were P3 aircrew member (maybe ASW more generally) or subs. ASW had a certain appeal, as I grew up with the Tom Clancy "Hunt for Red October" and thought how cool it owuld be to be on one of these, searching thousands of miles of ocean or patrolling the GIUK. Anyway, Army re-opened prior service for Infantry and the rest was history. Still think they are great looking planes though and love the sound of the 4 turboprops when they pass over.

As far as I know they were Alphas and early Bravos. I saw a couple on the ramp one year at Fresno and noticed that they were VP-65's old B models having served both in 65 and the SAU at Pt Mugu, VP-0919. If they are going for the type used in the 80's then they will be P-3C Update III birds. Hopefully one texture set will be VP-65.

Well, all it takes is some kind of manual and how different are they from the inside out, we don´t have info on firebombers, this particular add on is Bear´s baby , and knowing him the way i do, he wont even touch it unless there is reliable information.
Best regards

Prowler

PS: What i mean is..find some info on them :)

Everything is possible but the first batch will be Cold War warriors. The sub hunters that were patrolling the North Atlantic and the GIUK gap. I won't say no. It depends. Be patience that your request has been noted.

If you can get us the info, that will help a lot and make your wish become a reality.

The P-3C is still a WIP. I was just tired of working on the Harrier and decided to take it for a spin. One of the perks of working at RAZBAM. BTW, those screenshots are from Prepar3D although the aircraft was built for FSX.
