Hi all, here are some late model Canadair Sabre 'hacks' using SF8's great F-86E model. Just a few to wet the ol' whistle.
Skins are almost done, presently trying to overcome some mapping issues on the underside of the wings - panel lines get all skewed on the right side.
Canadair Sabre Mk.6 23518 of No. 430 (Silver Falcons) Sqn, RCAF, 2 (F) Wing, Grostenquin, France, early 60s. - imagine a 6-3 wing...
Canadair Sabre Mk.6 23512 of No. 439 (Sabre-Toothed Tigers) Sqn, RCAF, 1 (F) Wing, Marville, France, early 60s.
Canadair Sabre Mk.6 23755 of No. 441 (Silver Foxes) Sqn, RCAF, 1 (F) Wing, Marville, France, early 60s.
Although the camo was a standardized NATO pattern, I will change it slightly on every aircraft... as soon as I get off my lazy butt...
Canadair Sabre Mk.5 23353 of Weapons Flight, No. 1 (F) OTU, Chatham, New Brunswick, Canada, early 60s. - imagine a hard edged, fenced 6-3 wing this time...
Skins will be available on the Flight Ontario website soon.
