RE: Cannot download Flight Leader's P51B-C into FS9

Hi All,.....another 'techno' problem this week:help:
This one has me really stumped. Earlier this evening I tried installing Epsillon's re-paint 'Miss Pelt' into the Flight LeaderP51B-C package.
The aircraft showed up in the preview....but would immediately crash half way into the tarmac right after hitting the 'fly' button. So I removed the texture package and the spec info pasted into the aircraft's cfg. file. That didn't make a difference. ALL the default P51's would start to the same thing. Crash way into the tarmac. So I deleted out the whole Flightleader P51 package and tried to reinstall.
That was a 'no go' too. I tried installing directly into FS9 and then tried installing the package into a temp folder within my PROGRAMS folder. It didn't make a difference. The blue progress bar only goes to about 40% and then I get this below message.
I even cleaned the registry thinking that might help. It didn't. I tried 5 or 6 times. Still the stoppage when either I try to install into the game or a temp folder. So right now I'm at a total loss what is going on and what I can do to fix the situation. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. FS9 works fine other than this glitch.

I have a problem with the Warbirdsim P-51B/C too. After I installed the first repaint by Eps and pasted the text to the aircraft config, it was fine. Later when I installed a second repaint by Eps, and pasted its text to the config, the config became all scrambled. I think thats what happened here with you Brad. I'm having to fix it up by unscrambling everything in the config manually.

Editing WarbirdSim Mustang 'aircraft.cfg' with notepad will corrupt the file (it was mentioned in the original post) .
To prevent this, you can use Notepad++ :

This is a great free tool...;)

Best regards,
