RE: Deep Fried Beer entered at State Fair of Texas.....

FOX News a story on it, saw it the other day while sitting in the hospital.
Kinda looked like a fried ravioli filled with tiny amount of warm beer inside.
Didn't look very appetizing.

Guinness? If he's at the Texas State Fair, he'd have better luck with some of that thar Shiner Bock from Shiner TX. It 's a little town with a big brewery about half way between San Antonio and Houston just North of Yoakum. Yeeeha! Now that would be some real Texas fried beer, Partner. Couple chews on that, then... Getty-Up!

I think I'd have to try it. Something tells me that oil and beer don't mix. But, the idea of a fried pretzel does... And if it seals in the beer, it sounds like an incredibly unhealthy, yet very tasty treat.

Shiner Bock REALLY messes me up. Something about their hops...

I can't drink really bitter IPA's because my body is really sensitive to a lot of hops.

Wheat Beer on the other hand...my favorite :jump:
