Ok, LOOKING THINGS OVER....I think the 1st thing I should do is play cfs2 all the way through to gain a greater understanding of the game again. Its been at least 5 years since I played this game, so Im going to play it through all the way on default settings, like default air craft and such. then I will download all the best addons for the cfs 2 to see where every thing has gone to. I think I will use fdsv2 as it is a dedicated program for cfs2 and other ms flight sims. And lets face it when a program has a mdl compiler built right in, then why not keep things simpler right?

But 1st thing to do is get this old computer(Yeah i dug out a older cfs2 /simtech computer from years ago) upgrade it with a new graphics card and some newer ram, reformat the hd w ith xp pro and just put cfs2 only on it so its not piled down or any thing, I should put in a hd period, I have a new one here AND should use it.
Then build a cfs2 specific web page for simtech, get that built and up loaded with in a month or so and do some up grades to the cfs2 addons we built so they rock a little more, get them on the web site for you guys to come and get.

Then onto a new addon project. I have always wanted to replace every cfs2 default plane with all new simtech styled ones and have it so the missions and campagnes all work properly too. I will start there, then I could fullfull that desire that has been burning my ass for fever. And we could have some kick ass default replacements! lol! its not like cfs2 is going any where soon. Got tons of time with this one.

Welp its gonna be alot of fun, I will lean on you guys to get me up to speed from time to time if thats ok?

Sounds like a good plan Crashwoody.I've flown some of your planes and loved them.

If you are going to do new planes for the default ones no one has done the Avenger or Devastator and people have been asking for a few years for new ones.Just a Suggestion as a start.Plus I do mainly Pacific Campaigns and Carrier ops.:costumes:

I think its only fiting do do all of the planes even the ai ones that you dont see in the menue. I think this game is just used a fraction as to what it can really do.

But there is a treasure trove down here in the basement, and its all well catalogued and accessible. This and the potential of the sim make it a magnet. Oh yes...and there are the great people too!:costumes:

If I can throw in my tuppence.... Of the stock aircraft the only one that hasn't been redone in some way is the B-24 IIRC
