Re-sizing images in Texture Converter

Guys --

I haven't had to do this in a while, so...

How do you change textures using Texture Converter from 2048 X 2048 to 1024 X 1024?

Just a quick addendum...

I think I had to do this for some of the textures for Piglet's OS2U repaints. I just don't remember HOW to do it>

Hi Marc,

I saw your post earlier on. I never replied due to the specific question. I don't know of the texture converter, but I have resized my templates via Adobe Photoshop.

I know, off topic

This would be the process for resizing a bmp file.

1. Make sure you save backup copies of what you want to resize.

2. Open the file with DXTBmp.

3. Export it to your paint program. I use Paint Shop Pro 6.0.

4. Use your paint program to resize it from 2048 to 1024. Make sure you save it before the next step.

5. Return to DXTBmp and import it back into the application.

4. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for the alpha layer.

5. Now you can save and overwrite the file.

Have fun
