• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

re. wallpaper for your screen ...

... found a nice site for pictures: http://www.ahawallpaper.com/
Those interested in warbirds and battleships (among other things, cars for me) might like it.

Several things I like about the site:
You can search (eg. Flanker) if you have something specific in mind.
If you don't have time to muck about, you can change the filter from all to your resolution, apply, and only get those sizes.

If you do have the time, you can hover mouse over item and see the resoltion displayed (I do this so I don't select smaller pictures or aspect ratios that wouldn't stretch right, I only want full screen).
If same size resolution, click again to see full size picture, rightclick and save to pc.

If resolution bigger, click on the image and it will be displayed (as well as others in the group beneath it).
You can click on the image(s) you're interested in and another screen will come up showing 3 choices for cropping.
When you choose one, it will show you the result (will match your cropping selection) and you can save it to your pc from there.
I find that to be a big time saver so I don't have to later call up the downloaded files in an editor and crop manually.
